I want to sell my laptop and therefore completely "empty!" So everything as if he had bought new. How? YT does not help me.
Do you mean with "empty" new Windows 10? You can simply format all your hard drives so that they have nothing left and then simply reinstall Windows 10 (or whatever you have)
The easiest way is if you play the operating system in a new mood and then format the hard disk in the installation process.
I have windows 8 but how do I format etc?
As?
Then first read this through here

And best you should also have a program that will automatically install all the drivers for your PC, I recommend this here:
https://www.iobit.com/de/driver-booster.php
Simply install it on a USB stick / cell phone or other pull and secure, then as soon as you have reinstalled Windows, you can simply pull it in here by USB stick / cable and start
With a CD or a bootable USB stick
Wow. 6 answers, none of which is that files are easily recoverable from formatted disks.
For a sale I would either sell without a hard drive or previously overwrite the hard drive, for example with https://dban.org/. In my opinion, a simple override with zeros is enough. But it will probably take a few hours depending on the hard disk capacity. I overwrote a 256 GB SSD in 25 minutes, HDDs take many times longer.
Then download a https://www.microsoft.com/...d/windows8 and transfer to USB stick or burn DVD.
