I want to use my cellphone headphones on the PC as a microphone, but unfortunately it always shows that no microphone is connected / no input device was found. Does somebody has any idea? The audio works and I've already tried all connections. I've already tried to connect the headphones to the speakers with a headphone jack, but it doesn't work either. It works on a laptop.

These are normal cell phone headphones with a jack plug from Huawei.
You will need an adapter from 1x 4-pin jack socket to 2x 3-pin jack plug to separate audio and microphone.
It works on the laptop because there's usually a 4-pin input.
A jack plug? The PC usually does not have a "combination connection" that can operate a microphone and loudspeaker (headphones) in one. You plug it into an audio output so only audio comes out.
When I plug it in, I can choose whether it's headphones, input device or audio output.
I agree. Or, not and. I mean with the connector type, the PC does not generally support the microphone function.

Do it in micro then it works. If I put it in my xbox controller it works too
