Good day 😊 I want to buy a mixer but currently have no laptop / PC. Is there a way to close the mixer on the phone / tablet? And how does it work? Do you still need to download a software such as Traktor, VirtualDj? I know this only with the mixer on the laptop
If you want to mix simply, then there are certain apps on the phone. You do not need a mixer.
But if you want to do advanced mixing, such as effects or scratching, you will at least get a laptop to the mixer, otherwise it would not be possible.
If you ONLY want to produce and mix, I recommend a MacBook, or Apple Computer, as they are wonderfully tuned to hardware and software and so much better program like Ableton, Virtual DJ, … Etc. Can handle.
If you have questions, just write.
I really do not want to buy a laptop right away😁 and had the hope that it works as transitional first but I will have no problem whatsoever for the enlightenment
At best, you do not get yourself a mixer, but you will first find the program variety and find your favorite. (I use Ableton Live, for example)
If you think you've found a good program that can handle it (you'll need to learn how it works in almost all programs), you can start making your first beats, and maybe even make a nice song for the person Write that you like.
On YouTube, there are enough people who can explain well how to work with various programs, and you'll find that the programs just look so complicated in the beginning. If you can really say that you produce, mix or otherwise often enough, you can get additional equipment such as synthesizers, keyboards, etc., until you are among the pros. (does not mean that you buy jz. Everything and do not use anything at the end because you can't or do not want to learn it).
Here are a few programs and YouTube creators that can explain that well.
Fl Studio: (free and easy to learn) https://www.image-line.com/downloads/flstudiodownload.html
Ableton Live: (temporarily free and with the purchase of Ableton products a free version but less) https://www.ableton.com/de/trial/
OliverMusik: (FLStudio producer - uploaded tutorials on his channel) https://www.youtube.com/...87xvA6APBQ
Vincent Lee: (Produced with Ableton but does not do any tutorials, but has some videos where you can check out some features, etc.) https://www.youtube.com/...c/featured
Kaskobi: (English-speaking creator who specifically refers to launchpads and now and again shows his production) https://www.youtube.com/.../playlists
