I have an old laptop. The laptop is a Pavilion dv6, it is slow and I wanted to ask if this is due to the hard drive (I don't know that much about it). So he has:
Graphic card:
amd radeon hd 7400m series
intel (r) hd graphics 3000
Cpu:
intel (r) core i5-2410m 2.30Hz
I wanted to ask if the laptop could still be saved.
How much ram do you have
So that it's slow is definitely not just due to the hard drive…
Of course, the laptop can still be saved.
The hard drive will be the slowest on that part… I would replace that with an SSD.
Then of course reinstall Windows.
If you want to get more out of the laptop you should install Linux. This gives all old devices another powerful performance boost, and browsing is just as easy as on Windows.
Of course this could be due to the hard drive…
If it were jerky the CPU would be too weak, if it would hang the RAM would probably be too small, but slow booting, starting programs etc. Depends of course on the disk.
Is that what I said?
Of course you have.
Where did I say it wasn't the hard drive?
I "just" read it over…
I noticed.
Did you steal my channel picture? -.- xD
OHA.
As if we have the same xD
No, I really don't. What a coincidence
XD
8gb
So you could also play games like csgo, r6, fortnite etc. Correctly. If you replace the hard drive?
Rather no
It would be an office machine… For surfing, watching Youtube and Word
OK thanks
