She always has the hard drive on her laptop. One day, the message "USB storage device was improperly removed" appeared on the lower right. Since then, the hard drive is no longer recognized. Cable replaced, laptop replaced, nothing works. When plugged in, the power LED on the hard drive lights up and it hums. This is a bit louder than usual. In Disk Management, this is no longer displayed. No clicking or other noise. 4 different recovery program used and not recognized by anyone.
Then she wanted to have the hard drive professionally restored. They demand 2197 euro from her… But you can buy a used small car! And because I'm interested in technology, I thought I'll help her there. But so far I've only done this with sticks and memory cards. Anyone like an idea like me s.besten on a hard drive? Is that still to save?
