I have a question about a Pcs, because my old laptop no longer manages the game overwatch, I wanted to get something new.
I have to say, unfortunately I don't have the big money for it either. Now I have found a cheap PC and wanted to know if someone is familiar with it and can tell me whether it is sufficient for WoW and Overwatch.
here's the data:
Power supply: 400 watt silent power supply
Mainboard: Asus Prime A320M-K, AMD A320
Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G 4x 4.0GHz
Cooler: Original AMD Wraith Stealth Cooler
RAM: 8GB DDR4-RAM PC-3000 (1x 8GB)
Graphics card: AMD Radeon Vega 8 graphics
Insulation: no insulation
Benchmark: no benchmark software
1. HDD / SSD: 1000GB S-ATA3, 600MB / sec.
Sufficient for shooters in competitive settings.
However, would rely on dual channel ram, especially with iGPUs and a SSD.
Can be retrofitted with a graphics card at any time.
Similar PC, but better:
So modern games with it nope.
Do you want to buy it like this? Then don't do that.
If you can live with lower graphics, that's fine. However, I would definitely do 2 things differently.
1. RAM: Get 2x 4GB even if you have to buy new RAM modules to get 16 GB. The 3200G benefits extremely from dual channel and you will have more FPS in games.
2. SSD: Just get a 240 or 480 GB SSD, is much better than a HDD.
Why not?
Because it's not a gaming PC.
Who says that?
I say this.
Who are you that you can say what a gaming PC is and what is not?
Great, thanks for your advice. I'll write it down quickly, luckily I can still have it modified or modified as it suits me, the above data are "pre-made". That is why I'm open to tips and improvements.
Oh, so bad? Oh 😣
Uh I'll remember that! Is an affordable price, then I have to have a look!
You can't care, you best take care of your own stuff, you think you have enough to do. And if you call this PC gaming, with the specs, sorry you have no idea about PCs.
Techfan's PC is far better than this config.
Since my old laptop no longer manages the game overwatch, I wanted to get something new.
Can you and please first state the key technical data of your previous laptop?
Ryzen 3 - 3200G's Pro Kern & Mhz gaming performance is roughly on the level of a fictitiously clocked Core i5 - 6600 (K) to i5 - 7600 or slightly below i3 - 8100. (all with 4 cores / 4 threads, like the Ryzen 3 - 3200G)
RAM: 8GB DDR4-RAM PC-3000 (1x 8GB)
This is a no-go even for an AMD Ryzen 3 - 3200G. For optimal graphics performance of the Vega 8 - iGPU you have to operate 2 × 4 GB DDR4 - 3000 in dual channel mode.
Oh god have to say that my old laptop or notebook is not made for gaming:
Processor: Intel®CoreTM i5-5200U, 2 cores, (2.2 GHz / up to 2.7 GHz), 6 MB L3 cache.
Graphics chip: NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 920M (2 GB)
RAM: 8 GB DDR3L RAM (2x 4GB)
Hard disk space: 500 GB HDD (5400 rpm)
Cool, but can you also comment on my comment? Why should I take care of my things? Your statements don't even make sense and are somehow thrown together so that they appear ready for action. It's funny that everyone on YouTube calls an APU PC a gaming PC xD Maybe not the best, but you can still play games smoothly. Didn't know that you can now decide whether I have a clue or not ^^
Everyone on Youtube, well if that's your yardstick. Lul
I don't know if pixel and tearing should be gaming. If you can distinguish from an opponent at a distance, not even a house edge, this is not gaming. If I have to see if my PC can create a game, it's not gaming. If I have to worry about how to set something so that it runs smoothly at all, that's not gaming.
And it's not 8GB Ram in single channel either. 🤷♀️ An APU can't keep up with a real GPU.
How do you come up with that now? Context? XD
In one thing, I have to correct myself a little later, because Ryzen 3200u is actually only around the same per core & MHz at the level of a comparable clocked Core i5-4000 series. (Sorry my mistake)
Your i5 - 5200u per core & Mhz is up to almost 20% better at games, but has (as you already recognized correctly) only 2 cores / 4 threads.
The Nvidia Geforce GT 920m of your notebook is not a "performance grenade", but a Radeon Vega 8 with 2 × 4 GB DDR4-3200 would not perform "enormously" any better.
It would be better if you save a little more and get at least one used PC with an Intel Core i5-4460 to i5 - 4670 quad-core, and then get yourself (if necessary also used) at least one Geforce GTX 750Ti to GTX 1050.
You say if you don't have to worry about what you are playing or when you are playing.
