Asus Laptop UEFI detects all devices but does not show anything in the boot menu?

My Asus laptop was having problems last week and my hard drive was suddenly no longer recognized in the UEFI. So I ordered a new one and just installed it. The new hard drive is recognized, as well as the USB stick and CD drive. However, none of them are shown in the boot menu. I reset the UEFI settings and tried everything possible. Anyone else has an idea?
