Green tick for apps on laptop?

Hello, my Asus Vivobook 17 arrived today. I've already set it up and I notice that the apps have green ticks on them. (See picture) How can I disable that?

I think that's when the programs are stored on the cloud

The hooks come from OneDrive.

OneDrive backs up your desktop and other selected folders.

You can deactivate the backup in the One Drive settings.

To deactivate:

Click on the One Drive icon in the task bar
Open settings
Select the Backup menu item
Manage backup
Stop desktop
