I found an "old" Asus Notebook T100T with a broken display glass in the bulky waste and poked around a little. Learn by trying. So, then a password is set in the BIOS so that the password is requested when switching on. Now I don't find, don't scream, the slip of paper where it's written. Can I install a new operating system (Ubuntu) with an external drive? Or do I have to remove and reformat the SSD, and then? Yes, I'm learning again, exactly.
You can't do anything on the laptop without the BIOS password.
Sure to install and remove hardware, but nothing in terms of software.
You can't bypass the BIOS password by reinstalling the operating system.
This is also "crackable";)
Remove the battery. The flash memory would then have to be deleted and the BIOS is gone.
