I need a laptop and have no idea about it?

I would like to buy a laptop sometime soon that is good for these 3 things: 1. I want to play Sims 3 & 4 smoothly on it (it should run well even with lots of expansion packs) 2. After Effects should also run completely smoothly on it. 3. Things like Youtube or other streaming sites should also run smoothly (actually understandable but not even that works on my current laptop)

I found this laptop https://www.mediamarkt.de/...04384.html but I have the feeling that otherwise I have to pay how much so that it does what it should. I know that it is better to build one yourself, but as I said, I have no idea about the whole thing and don't know anyone who could do it for me.

So normally the games would have to run on it easily, I watch youtube etc and play sims 4 on a 300 euro notebook, so if it stays with sims 3 and 4 the part is enough there!

The laptop you picked is pretty bad (just for 500 euro). What budget do you have then I'm looking for something.

So

I'll just say up to 1000, but it would be really great if it were cheaper

For example, everything runs without problems (should last 5 years), but also costs 700 euro.

So

Thank-you! I will definitely remember.

If by "streaming" you only mean watching videos from such services, almost every book with integrated graphics from Intel (U) HD 610/620/630 with at least 2 cores / 4 threads, or AMD Ryzen 3 - 2200u / 3200u with Vega 3 graphics already manage via their integrated hardware video decoder.

For Sims 4 (with mods) it gets more demanding. It should be a book with Ryzen 5 - 3500u (including Vega 8 graphics) to 4500u (including improved Vega 6 graphics) and 2 × 8 GB DDR4 - 2667 to 3200 RAM as a minimum.

Such books should still be able to be found in a price range around 500 to 600 euro.

At 2 × 8 GB DDR4 - 4133, the Vega 6 graphics of a Ryzen 5 - 4500u can almost keep up with an Nvidia Geforce MX 150/250/350, as these cards have only been renamed several times. (called "rebranding"… Old wine in new bottles)

For less than 600 to 700 euro, notebooks with separate performance graphics chips from AMD and Nvidia are unfortunately currently not available as new goods because of the rising prices for "dedicated" graphics chips.

Which notebook do you currently have exactly? (Please provide manufacturer, complete model number and, as far as possible, precise information about the CPU and the installed graphics solution…)

So

First of all thanks even if I didn't understand half of it😅 I can't say the name of my current laptop right now (maybe tomorrow if you're so interested haha) but what I can say is that it is extremely slow and youtube videos are constantly hanging and netflix is practically useless. I played sims 3 on the laptop and it was still ok, but it was always tagged

Maybe tomorrow if you care

Let's keep THAT to the technical information of your current book, because they are also important retrospectively for you.

haha

What is extremely inappropriate about the serious take-up of your question. You could attach that if your current book now only had an Intel T3200 or Atlon x52 with corresponding chipset graphics, for example.

So please be serious about such questions if you really expect help. 🙄

So

Hey it's me again! Can you maybe help me again for a moment? The thing is, the laptop you sent me is currently unavailable and I found this one: https://www.amazon.de/...092R47T6D/

Would that be okay too?

Va

No, it's very bad. I'm looking for another one for ~ 600 euro, they'll be gone quickly if you give yourself a lot of time because there's high demand.
