I have a laptop from ASUS with the built-in microphone Realtek High Definition Audio. Unfortunately, misunderstandings often occur because my microphone is not so clearly understandable. Is there a way to improve my microphone (noise, indistinctness, etc.)?
Programs like Teamspeak, Skype, etc. Offer noise suppression and echo suppression in the program settings.
The problem with laptop microphones is that they are usually very cheap and the microphone has to record the (mostly hollow) surround sound so that it can capture your voice (it is relatively far away from you). As a result, it is of course always inferior in quality to a headset with a microphone in front of your mouth. So if you want to do your fellow humans a favor, use a headset. In my opinion, laptop microphones are always just an "emergency nail" and not a real solution. I have never experienced that I could not hear that someone in Teamspeak is only using a laptop microphone.
