My laptop doesn't start anymore.
At first I thought it was because of the battery but after connecting the cable the laptop still showed no reaction (not even the charging LED light)
I seriously wondered if it broke.
There are three causes:
Mainboard defective / lubricated (see below)
Power switch defective
Power supply defective (and battery deeply discharged)
Try the battery and and take out electricity. Wait 5 minutes. Then everything back in.
Some laptops also have a reset function to discharge the components (especially where you can't remove the battery). It is usually sufficient to hold the power button down for 30 seconds (the power cable must not be plugged in).
