I have the following question. The device mentioned has a USB c input for digital signal, as well as for power supply via a laptop. Can I simply connect a suitable charger to supply the interface with power without using a laptop?
I'm afraid that the mains voltage might be too high if I don't use the weaker laptop output.
I can't answer whether it's that easy. It doesn't work with my 2nd Gen. But it is not intended as a stand alone. But try it out.
