I own the following notebook erazer P7647 MD60595 and have the problem that I would like to connect a third monitor. When I bought a usb c to hdmi adapter I found that the computer does not recognize the monitor. On further reading it turned out that not every USB c connection has DisplayPort. Unfortunately I couldn't find a general solution. My question now is how do I find out whether it is the adapter or whether I have no display port.
In the event that the USB c connection does not have DisplayPort, I would be happy if someone could tell me whether I can connect the monitor via USB 3, why a docking station that was made for the device should transmit video and what options there are still to connect a monitor since VGA and HDMI are occupied. However, I would like to expand the monitors so please do not use an HDMI splitter that only duplicates the image

Install drivers
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M
from the NVIDIA website. Your USB C will be mapped on it is probably like mine then hybrid system.
Ok thanks I'll try that out. Do you have the same model?
My Win10 says all drivers are up to date. But maybe he really overwrites that. So the whole thing is a software problem and has nothing to do with the hardware? But don't I have to activate the GeForce somewhere?
I've never been able to try it, but I never see my graphics card doing anything, so I'm afraid that the only USB C manages.
So I reinstalled the driver again without any improvement. I have now ordered an adapter for USB 3 to test. After that I don't see any possibility except to buy a new PC or to buy an HDMI splitter that supports expansion for 300 euro. Theoretically, I could still test a docking station, but I can't imagine how it should work.
