Why do women often mask their laptop webcam - so "why" is clear - but why are only women (and not men) so paranoid?
Because only men are so creepy and would watch you. And no man is watching other men. 😄

I don't find anything paranoid about it. For one thing, because there are enough creeps hacking webcams. On the other hand, because I don't want to accidentally turn on the webcam. And numerous current cases in particular show that this fear is not entirely unfounded.
And I know some men who do that too. So this is not just a woman thing.
