I'm currently trying to establish a connection to the TV via HDMI cable via my PC. It is certainly not because of the cable and the TV, because I can use my laptop to display the screen on the TV.
Therefore, it should be the PC. Do you have an idea how I could do it? I have already tried switching on and off. The PC also has only one HDMI connection.
I have a GTX 1060 in my PC
8GB Ram
Intel Core i5 processor
Go to the menu of the TV and switch to HDMI 2 or alternatively PC
I only have an HDMI input on the left of my LG TV. This is the HDMI 3. But in the sources there are 3 HDMIs
Did you also connect the HDMI cable to your graphics card? And the TV is switched to the correct HDMI input?
If there are 3 sources in the menu, there are also 3 jacks, and you should try them all.
Obviously there are sockets elsewhere.
I already thought that. I just have to find those things first. However, there's also a VGA connection. I didn't find anything…
Can I change where I connect it to the PC? There's only one HDMI socket
We can't help you because you haven't mentioned the model yet. How about if you yourself are looking for a user manual on Google?
There are motherboards that have an HDMI connection in case the CPU is equipped with a graphics chip.
If you want to operate the TV next to the monitor, this is a second screen for the PC. It only has to be activated in Windows if this is not done automatically.
With Win10: Go to Settings> System> Display> Under "Multiple screens": "Detect"…
Then the source is HDMI 3;)
