Second study first tax return can I get anything back?

I was currently planning to file my own tax return for the year 2018.

I'm studying business administration since 1.10.18 and working at the post office.

Now I had summed up briefly what costs were incurred for studying (laptop, mobile phone, printer, literature, Semesterticket, semester contribution) and it came to 2.274 euro together.

Now I have already looked at my employment tax statement for 2018 and have earned 3600 euro gross from July-December '18.

That means, in reverse, that I have no loss carry forward or? Do I get anything at all again or is there still worth the tax return?

This is my second degree because I have already completed a business education.

About any help, I would be very connected!

A loss carryforward arises only if the expenditure is greater than the revenue.

Whether it is otherwise worthwhile to file a tax declaration depends on whether you have paid income tax. In any case, the income is below the basic allowance - so you would be reimbursed for all taxes paid.

In fact, a loss carryforward only arises if the cost of income exceeds the revenue. I miss in the listing, however, the travel costs to the university.

If payroll tax has been withheld, it will be refunded in full as your income is well below the basic allowance.

But payroll tax is apparently not much right?

ka

You should know that better than I, because the amount of tax withheld results from your employment tax statement.

You are a student and should actually know how to find and process information. Otherwise look at your employment tax statement, if no payroll taxes were withheld, then you get nothing back. Otherwise, everything because you are below the tax-free amount of income.
