Set the time correctly on the website?

I have already asked this question, but have not received a helpful answer.

Apart from the fact that my laptop somehow doesn't know the time change and therefore I have to set the time manually, the time in the browser is not correct.

In my browser (I use Opera, but it's the same with Microsoft Edge) you add an hour to the time. I noticed it for the first time on girlfriend.net, when new questions always said "1 hour, 1 minute ago", although it has only been a minute since the question was asked. But this is also the case with Discord (e.g. Message was posted at 2:00 p.m., but it says 1:00 p.m.).

Now my question is, how do I get the time on websites correctly?

Ca

I'm not a Windows user, but if you have set the time manually in your operating system, then you may have configured the wrong time zone, because this can usually also be configured.

Sa

Time zone is correct. UTC + 1

Ca

What does https://time.is/ say?

Sa

That's right

Ca

Then it's not related to your system. Because the time that is displayed on girlfriend, for example, is girlfriend's server time. You have no influence on it.

Sa

Does your answer also say, for example, "1 hour, 1 minute"?

Time zone Berlin?

Your korrywurst 😎

Sa

Yes

si

Change to daylight saving time. So that works with win10, I don't know. Still have win7

pr

But we currently have UTC + 2

Sa

With Utc + 2 there's nothing from DE

pr

We currently have CEST, which is UTC + 2

https://time.is/CEST

Maybe you have to check the daylight saving time?

Sa

Did it, you have to turn on "Automatically switch to winter / summer time" in the control panel.
