I would like to buy a device for school, but I'm not sure which would be better and more helpful, a laptop, tablet or iPad e.g. IPad 8 gen (Pro or Air are too expensive for me)?
As I said, I need the device for school to create documents, PowerPoints, diagrams, and graphs. Also for normal writing, research, attending conferences and all sorts of things.
Laptop is best for this. It's also good on a tablet, but personally I think a laptop is better.
For private use I would say tablet Android but for school I can only go with a laptop.
Ipad for sure! But if already iPad pro. The screens of it are large, a mousepad apple pencil correct keyboard etc. Take it in every case. The only problem is that it costs over 1000 euro
There are also laptops that are quite normal but that you can bend back completely so that they are like a tablet…

Use it mostly for school but also sometimes to watch netflix.

I can agree with you. The problem is that it is too expensive.
But on the laptop it's difficult to make diagrams, slides and such. I can only write documents in Word or create PowerPoints on the laptop.
Have a look at Surface… A Windows Tablet PC… Which you can use perfectly for working with a keyboard and as a tablet for taking notes with Pencil…
All Windows programs (e.g. Office) run without any problems… The iPad only has very defined versions…
My son got a Surface GO2 for his studies in the summer… And is very satisfied…
