So my laptop just fell off and is no longer working. It makes noise like a printer when I turn it on. What can I do now? It is not worth the money to have it repaired.
If it is broken and you can no longer have it repaired, you can scrap it.
Then throw it away.
Probably it got the hard drive. If you can find one (form factor 2.5 ") try to install it, then the box should run again. However, Windows and consorts have to be reinstalled.
Maybe the fan is gone?
Try screwing it on so you can check, maybe there's just something loose?

What does that mean, it no longer starts, Windows no longer starts, or the monitor does not start, right?
Screwed it on and also figured out what it could be. It's a small metal box or something that makes these noises. And as for that, the screen lights up, but nothing happens after that
