Which video editing software can you recommend for windows?

I want to do very simple things, like cutting individual parts from videos, putting them back together differently and then adding a different sound (music). A colleague recommended Filmora to me. I would have liked to have heard other opinions and recommendations. What do you like to work with most? The purchase price should be as low as possible (up to 50 euro). I would do that on Windows 10 (laptop).

Magix video deluxe and everything that comes from Magix video software is incredibly user-friendly and has a lot under the hood.

I use Shotcut, the program is open source.

Otherwise DaVinci Resolve is good too.

I myself like to work with the VEGAS series from MAGIX, there are also offers in your price range. But before you spend money, I would first check whether there are free programs that do the job. As examples, which I sort according to my preferences, I call Openshot, Shotcut or DaVinci Resolve. All free of charge.

Video editing for free.

1. VideoPad.

The program runs for about 14 days as a full version and must be paid for afterwards. However, it is very suitable for gaining experience. You can try out everything a video editing program needs. Fonts can be displayed in very different configurations. Images and audio from the hard drive can also be inserted. The same applies to text announcements via microphone. The whole thing can be given a professional look with various effects. Inserted images can be made more dynamic with the zoom function. So you can quickly create a slideshow in the video format of your choice. German help makes it easy for you to find your way around the program.

Tip: If you want to continue using the program with limited functions, uninstall VideoPad. A window opens, in which you set a dot, with "Continue to use with restricted functions".
