I have a Windows 10 laptop. I can't write an "@" character in the Text tool. Usually it always works with "ctrl + alt + Q", but it just doesn't work. What do I have to do to write such special characters?
Try to copy the special character in there.
Just try ctrl + q. Hope could help! LG
AltGR + Q = @
AltGr + Q…
It still doesn't work. I do not know what I'm doing wrong…
Try the key combination in word or word pad
Unfortunately, this is a known issue that has existed for many years and has not been resolved by Adobe to date. Special characters via AltGR or Ctrl + Alt, such as @, µ and €, can't be typed in directly in Premiere.
So far there's only a detour to open the editor, write in @ there and then copy & paste. I always get annoyed about it.
