For some time I had problems with my laptop. Hard drive, renewed (by the manufacturer) and Win10 Home new on it. Since then, umlauts in Microsoft Edge (Google Search!) Are represented as: ä = ä, ö = ö and ü = ü
I think that the umlauts can't be properly decoded or something (I just do not know so well with something of this kind). So what can you do about it?
These are so-called tofu. Simply download more fonts on the internet (fonts, simply no more tofus or anything else) or make updates.
