Unfortunately, my laptop does not sound. I can turn it as loud as I want, but nothing comes. Did my laptop again restarted but that brings nothing synonymous. Does anyone know what you can do there?
At the top of the bar are buttons that read F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7, and so on.
One of these buttons displays a speaker icon.
Then you press down the left Fn button and the button with the speaker icon at the same time.
Check the audio settings to see if the sound has been "turned off". This can happen if you install any software.
And see if the drivers are up to date.
Since when is this?
Otherwise a few questions to check:
Did you choose the right source where the sound should come out?
Has the sound card been deactivated by something?
@ Schuechterne36 did it work?
That's how it is today. I checked and there's a speaker enabled (default device) [Intel SST Audio Device (WDM)]. Unfortunately, I do not know what to do with it. Do not know me. Could you help me?
It says that the driver software is up to date.
Otherwise, I would never guess that, but in this case: If you have Win 10, try Windows Troubleshooting -> playing audio files. Maybe that will help, otherwise please contact me again.
Still have no sound. Was already in the troubleshooting and tried what I could. Do you remember? (Sorry for the whole questioning)
That comes to me quickly:
On the speaker icon in the bottom right of the taskbar and right click -> Sounds -> Play. Is there something conspicuous?
Maybe somehow "mechanically" suppressed the sound?
Where is the sound missing? Or is it just a program? Soundmixer check if there's something wrong.
I do not see anything flashy now. There just stops which speaker is currently activated. So this standard device. Where can you check the sound mixer?
Right click on speaker symbol -> open volume mixer. At device may also look to see if you can choose another device.
I guess I can't select any other device because there's nothing else to choose from. Would it be useful if I did a system recovery?
Remote diagnosis is unfortunately only possible to a limited extent. Maybe it's easy. Try it. Or the laptop has a hardware damage
I'll try it.
