Notebook comparison, study?

I'm studying Business Informatics and am looking for a new notebook. Some students have recommended me a Surface but I would like to get the opinion of others. Are the following notebooks recommended?

Do you want to use the notebook for studying or for gaming? What you have linked are all gaming notebooks.

sl

Every standard notebook is recommended. You will not need a supercomputer during your studies. For what too?

It should be noted in your three models that there's no operating system with it.

un

Actually only for studying. I currently have an Acer laptop and programming it takes hours to run the program. However, my laptop / notebook should run smoothly and reliably.

I do not need a supercomputer but a computer to program. My notebook should not crash all the time

sl

To program you need, as I said, no supercomputer. Say… 1000 Euro plus for a thing to spend, which you need for programming, is nonsense.

Does not mean you can't if you have the money and want. But just for programming enough, as I wrote before, any commercial computer.

What are you programming?

How about it then: https://www.lenovocampus.de/produkte/notebooks/thinkpad-t-serie.php

Currently I own an Acer (commercial computer), spins and does not help.

I have to z. B. Eclipse 5 times to restart until I can program.

un

Currently shell programming under Linux, Java (Eclipse) and soon c.

The problem is that it often takes hours for a program to open.

Under Linux? Do you have an HDD or SSD in operation?

un

Thank you for the recommendation!

HDD

Mi

An SSD would make a big difference in terms of application startup time, but it should not take hours to start an application on an HDD, especially on Linux.

un

Can it be because I use several programs at the same time? If I'm only on the www, then everything runs smoothly.

Mi

Is it under Windows or under Linux? If the latter, do you use a swap partition and if so, how big is it? How big is the RAM?

un

Yes, I use a swap partition. Unfortunately, I'm currently on the road and can't look.

I recommend you a MacBook Pro, at the earliest from the year 2014. So I get along well in the computer science education and am very satisfied. In addition, the keyboard from 2014 and 15 is very pleasant to write a few thousand lines of code 😉

Did you install Windows on the Mac? According to some fellow students, some programs work, such as: Phase 5 / Notepad ++ on the Mac is not
