Reboot laptop at Bitlocker?

no

Today I got my older Dell laptop from the basement and wanted to start it. Then came a message that I would have to enter my Bitlockerkey but I do NOT have it. Since there's no Witten data on the laptop anyway, I thought I would simply reset it, but then I got an error message and didn't work either.

Then I created a boot stick and tried to boot just like that but it didn't work either because the error message unknown file system always came and> grub rescue

I've been searching the internet for a long time but haven't found anything

Now to my question how can I completely flatten the laptop so that I can then reboot.

Again for info I only get to the desktop and not on my desktop

or does someone have another solution how I could reboot without the error message appearing

If the CD drive has it try it.

Grub error, was there Linux on it?

Otherwise you could get an external adapter, remove the hard disk and then connect it to the other pc and make it flat there.

You can install a Linux distribution on a stick. Not all of them work but you will find them easily.

After a perpetual wait for the thing to start, you can then delete the hard drive.

After that everything should go. So go in that you can then reload windows.

If you have a bootable Windows version and set in the BIOS that the laptop should boot from it, you should be able to format the hard drive.

But it could also be that you can't delete hard drives saved with Bitlocker at all, I don't know that exactly then you would need a new hard drive

How to flatten it:

Download Darik's Boot and Nuke: https://sourceforge.net/...o/download

Then write the ISO with Rufus https://rufus.ie/ on an empty formatted USB stick.
Boot the created stick and follow the instructions of the assistant. This completely overwrites the hard disk with zeros. This is the best way to blow everything up.

When this is complete, Rufus is used to create a USB boot stick with the operating system. Boot this afterwards.
