Short question about NVIDIA. I have a Dell Inspirion 5 with a NVIDIA graphics card GTX 1050. Would it be harmful in the global settings (NVIDIA system settings) to select the NVIDIA high-performance processor as the default or would you rather leave it set to Automatic? Think the notebook uses then not the NVIDIA but rather the Intel HD card.
LG and have a nice day.
You can leave it on Automatic. Actually you can select the graphic in the Nvidia control panel.
I read out sorry.
Would it be harmful to select the NVIDIA high-performance processor as the default in the global settings (NVIDIA system settings) or would you rather leave it set to Automatic
Yes you can do that would not be dangerous. But I would only do it if the game uses the Schintel.
No, it is not harmful. Then it uses NVIDIA for every process
OK! I would like to leave this set all the time so that my notebook uses the best possible performance. It would be nonsense if my notebook has an NVIDIA and mostly uses the Intel, because I mainly do office things.
So can I set global settings to Nvidia and not to automatic? The temperature rises thereby definitely or? LG and thanks for the information.
You can set it like that yes. Yes, the temperature can go up. With Office stuff you can use the Intel, uses less storm
You can try it automatically. If it all works, the Nvidia should automatically be selected as the gaming GPU. If not, you do it manually.
