What is this connection on the right?

On my laptop there are 3 USB slots on the left and one on the right. However, no devices are recognized on the right. How so? In any case, it is not USB 3.0, so what is it and how can I use my devices with it?

di

A defective usb connection?

El

That is then probably a USB 2.0 slot for mouse and or keyboard.

You can't connect devices to it, at least, no USB sticks or the like

Pe

That makes no sense.
Of course you can connect devices to a USB 2.0 slot.

El

But there are also connections to mainboards that are only made for keyboard and mouse

Pe

But these are not USB 2.0

El

This is USB 2.0.

It makes no sense that there's a USB 3.2 slot, would you like a high data transfer with a keyboard? 😂🤦🏼♂️

Pe

No. You mean the round, don't you?

That is PS2

El

No, that's not what I mean.

Du

Uploaded a picture of the slot.

oy

Which laptop?
The jetty seems to be blue.

Du

I just uploaded a picture of the slot.

oy

Nonsensical, but could it just be a power source and the DATA + and DATA- lines missing?
Is there a setting for this PORT in the BIOS?

Du

I have now tested it with several devices and apparently it is a USB port, which unfortunately does not recognize certain new devices.
