Why doesn't the ssd go into my laptop?

The ssd went into the slot with great difficulty and when I want to start the pc it stays off when the ssd is inside. When I take it out again, the laptop works again. Why is that?

It is an NVME M.2 SSD. That means it is connected via PCIE. There's a very high probability that your laptop "only" has one S-ATA M.2 interface.

S-ATA can only read and write about 500MB / s. With PCIE you can read and write from 1.5GB, but on average about 3GB / s.

This means that even if the interfaces look the same, they differ somewhat in terms of the notch. (M-Key, E-Key, … You can google it).

And the interfaces are not always upwards or downwards compatible. Many M.2 NVME interfaces support S-ATA, but not all. So just pay attention to the labeling near the interface, whether it says M.2 S-ATA or M.2 PCIE (nvme).

If necessary, google the manual of the notebook and read it.

I think it's because it's a PC SSD and not for the laptop. But I can't say 100% that I don't know myself very well.

Possibly incompatible I would think the same problem I had with RAM memory that was not recognized either slowed the pc down, the other caused crashes and the other left him dead that's the problem with the small parts for pc's they are not with all parts compatible

There's only CON51∅4 I have uploaded 2 pictures

Unfortunately, that is wrong with the interfaces. M.2 is the physical interface. This can be connected electrically like SATA or via PCIe, then the SSD usually uses the NVME protocol.

An M2 interface can ONLY be S-ATA compatible, as well as ONLY Nvme, if that's what you wanted. NVME is the protocol for the PCIE connection, that is correct.

Do you have an exact name for your notebook?
