My laptop has been trying to repair itself for days, but always stops at 8%. In the meantime I know the basic problem, because according to the Internet this condition is not uncommon.
With Esc I get to "Troubleshoot" or "Reset", but when selecting the PC, a password is always required for the PC.
I have no idea what that means. So I'm not getting anywhere at this point. I never set up a login password.
Does anyone have experience with it or can explain to me where I can find this password?
That doesn't work, either you used the running PC at the time e.g. ACRONIS True Image creates an "image" which can now be restored (best solution). PC would then be able to run again within 30 minutes with all settings… Or a new installation.
