Load game from CD to USB stick?

I have a game that I always played on our old PC. But it is broken now and I would love to continue playing the game. So unfortunately my laptop doesn't have a CD drive. Can you somehow load the data from the CD onto a USB stick?

Yes and no You could create an ISO file that you can slide onto the stick and mount from there. You can also simply buy an external USB CD drive for little money. That is easier.
