VLC media player has wrong audio setting?

I will first explain the situation. I recently bought a movie and then the music was fine, the sound effects of a bike e.g. Also. But the conversations were not understood to the dying and I gave the DVD back pissed off. I ordered it this time and hoped that would solve the problem, but no! Exactly the same problem again, but e x a k t. So now I'm wondering if my program on the laptop that I'm watching the movie with might have something to do with VLC Media Player. I have not yet tested the film on other devices, but I will do it immediately tomorrow.

Still, would anyone know how I could / would have to work on the program in order to possibly fix the problem?

This does not necessarily have to be the VLC media player. It may also be that your speakers are old or do not have good sound. You should definitely test the CD on a different device and then it should work because two attempts may not have been a coincidence.
