So my laptop has 2 USB ports. One thing is not the other and if I plug in a USB stick to the not "working", then it works, but the mouse, etc does not work? The mouse starts to shine, so the laser. Does not work.
Check this again with another mouse from another manufacturer,
possibly the socket could have been loaded with an increased charging current.
If this is then defective (current regulator was overloaded), you can do nothing as a normal user, then devices with low power then still work, in others, the voltage can break down and therefore the function be limited.
