After a minute or two of using Microsoft Teams, my laptop starts to ventilate very loudly and doesn't stop. Is that normal? What can I do against it?
Clean the fan. Do you or anyone else smoke indoors? Then be prepared for something when cleaning.
No, nobody in my household smokes. It won't be because of that, but thank you!
Ventilation is always a good idea at the moment:-)
The computer may be dusty so that the heat dissipation no longer works properly. Or the fan control has a quirk. Or the teams put such a heavy load on your computer that the processor actually gets hot.
When this occurs "again" I would guess that too much dust has got into the ventilation.
This happens especially when the devices are operated on material bases / textiles.
Can be remedied by unscrewing the device and removing the dust / fluff. But especially with laptops, you should have some technical skills when doing something like this.
