Yes, if you have a combo socket on your laptop (headphone and microphone input combined) you have to select that it is a headset when the message appears again.

Under: Hardware and Sound / Asus Smart Gesture (at Asus, (simply the device manufacturer)) and then click on the small headphone input and click on (always show) in the window.
