If my laptop has no internet connection and I connect it to my cell phone with 4g hotspot, the laptop uses more of my internet or it uses the same as the cell phone
I do not know if this info brings what but have 10gb Internet
Switch off automatic updates on the Lappi beforehand (Win, etc) and best switch off the display and prebuffering (pictures, videos) in the browser. Then it works…
Oh if I knew how to do that I just switched on the new laptop haha
Control panel - updates - and then issue it, but if you don't see Netflix and youtube, it should behave like a smartphone
You can also limit the use of data in your cell phone or turn on a message if it gets too much
https://support.microsoft.com/...windows-10
this allows you to tell your laptop that it should go into "Internet saving mode" for your mobile phone network
Cool, I still knew net as a feature. Learned something again. LG
Thank you but do you know if the laptop consumes more of my data volume than surfing in the cell phone
There are a few differences:
The browser on the laptop sometimes opens pages in the background to speed up surfing. The cost of data volume can be turned off in the advanced settings of Chrome (below under data protection and security)
There's also a data saving mode on the cell phone that is not available on the PC
