As mentioned in the title, (I suspect that my internal hard drive does not really want anymore) now my problem. The laptop was mostly very slow lately when booting and build up the Windows (taskbar) then I did a Windows update and in the installation it hung up. After that, nothing went, not even repairing the system or anything, always hung in the boat. Now I have Windows Boot Tool installed on a USB bootable Windows 10 Windows software and he does it too, but as soon as he makes some updates MS store and Windows updates then the whole system hangs and the hard disk light stops, The hard drive is a WD Blue 1TB HDD, how old I can't answer unfortunately because I have the laptop for 1 year already (used bought) but also a lot of download (cough DDL warez, animeloads). Wear vll? Would be very grateful for help. If it's the internal hard drive, it will soon be ne Mx500 ssd.
Get a Linux distribution ready and read via the live system the SMART data of your hard drives. So either the suspicion of a defect can harden or you can exclude it.
Seems like you've tried everything. You can check the hard disk with chkdsk. Or you can run NEN surface test. But both take time. 4h I would plan each already.
If you did that and the plate has many broken sectors or something similar, you should get a new one.
You can also download Crystal Disk Info and see what it says:
https://crystalmark.info/en/software/crystaldiskinfo/
Or the software CrystalDiskinfo also a very famous tool to see if the hard disk has anything. Because I have no idea how to deal with Linux and it (installed) but before in the advanced power options, the option that the hard drive after 20 min. In the network operation shuts off, why is there such a standard in it?
Attempted solution:
Install a new SSD and rebuild Win 10 on it. Operate the LT with the power supply.
Another attempt to install WIN10 on the HDD could lead to the same result.
But if it does happen then you could try to scan this disk for errors.
For safety's sake, I would drive here but two tracks.
Thanks, that's what I wanted to do with Crystal Disk Info. Have previously looked in the advanced power options and there was standard in it that the hard drive turns off in network operation in 20 min. Why the hell, well, watch if it gets better with it. And still download the program.
Thank you for your help. I now download the program CrystalDiskinfo and Scan the hard disk if it has a defect, but I'm surprised, I was recently in the advanced power options and have seen that standard was in it that the hard drive turns off after 20 min in the network operation. Have it disabled and so far he is running…
The 20min is standard. Should be energy efficient. The hard drive should actually start again when it is used again. And it should only go out if you do not use it 20min
But yes, it is idiotic. So much power does not pull the hard drive and the constant starts again anyway
Crystaldiskinfo has not delivered good values, I will soon buy a SSD, thanks again.
Always happy, even if you have already come alone xD
