Photo collage for 1000 pictures?

I'm looking for a website where you can edit about 1000 images to a collage. I do not want to order anything. I want to create a nees wallpaper for my laptop.

A huge number of pictures.

I once had a free mosaic software that could handle at least as many pictures. The purpose is a different one, but may produce a collage.

What do you want with 1.000 (!) Pictures in one pile? Then you can't see anything anymore.
