Energy-saving mode = shutdown on the PC?

Lately, I've noticed that the power-saving mode (or standby mode) on my laptop has made sure all previous programs shut down. However, this is not the task of power saving mode but shutdown.

My question is, why does that happen and how can I change it?

Normally you can set this yourself, but it is named differently for different models / Windows versions. Expanded energy options or that would mean… At Win 10 I think "Additional Energy Settings.

I use standby and hibernate - readiness and hibernation. The device should only make standby on the mains, and in standby mode after 30 minutes standby switch to the idle state. That's exactly how I adjusted it and that's how it works.

This works with Windows 7 and Windows 10.

I do not have both power settings options available on my laptop. I'm looking for but can't find anything.

Then open a new question asking for your laptop type and operating system, please.

I think you have misunderstood something. I have a normal Asus gaming laptop with Windows 10. I suppose I should have these settings but either they are locked for me or something else.

Windows 10: Settings - System - Power and Energy Saver - Additional Power Settings - Change Power Settings - Change Advanced Power Settings. In the newly opened window you can do every single shot.
