I want to delete all data and installations from my laptop. How do I do this without deleting Windows? Like I said, I just want to make the Lappi tidier and not painstakingly delete everything.
Not at all. If you want to do it sensibly, delete it completely and use the recovery partition to re-install Windows
I would create a new user and delete the old user folder. Install CCleaner and clear the free space on the hard drive and everything is swept clean.
Of course this does not include any software / programs you have installed.
That's an answer! Thank you, direct, understandable and no technical language!
Goal achieved. I'm glad! If you have difficulties or new questions, feel free to contact us.
If the hard drive in this notebook is still original and the original partitions have not been deleted, it has an automatic recovery partition. Press F9 several times after switching on, then the installer arrives. There you can select a full restore, it deletes all your data and installs a new Win 7 with drivers etc.
