On my laptop, the CPU is on the left. But that's exactly where the WASD buttons are. Since it is hot there because of the CPU, and I have my fingers on it permanently (WASD is used for control in gaming), the keys are always really sweaty.
Is it normal for the CPU to be on the left, and why? Or is this a design flaw on my laptop?
Yes for me too, but nothing gets warm in the WASD area.
In many laptops, the CPU is on the right (center), the graphics card on the left and the ventilation outlet on the left. But there are other concepts. Once had one, the right palm always got nice and warm because the CPU was sitting there.
So
For example, the laptop has the HDMI output or VGA or whatever on the left
If you look at the motherboard on the right PC (often) these connections are on the left (unless this motherboard doesn't support it)
And since the connections are on the left, the CPU is also installed on the left (but do not know which laptops or something) whether it is always under wasd depends on the mainboard or the keyboard
Yes, this is often the case with older laptops.
