Gaming laptop little FPS in CsGo?

I bought a gaming laptop from Medion a long time ago. This has an Intel i7 8550U and a gtx 1050 2gb installed. This laptop really disappointed me deeply, since I only have 60-70 fps (lowest settings) in CsGo. I also selected CsGo in the Nvidia control panel under the programs but nothing works.

Where did you find a gtx1050 with 4gb vram?
What do you need more than 60-70fps for?
Do you actually have a screen that can do more than 60hz?

Bo

The CPU in CSGO limits to low graphics settings.

I don't know an i7 8500, do you mean an 8500Y? If so, this is a ULV dual core CPU with only 5W power target. Since you can expect absolutely nothing, the SoC uses only minimally more than a smartphone CPU…

Cu

Think he means the Ti version

Bo

Doesn't matter for the question (you can even get the fps with an Intel IGP)
Does not matter, fps are an average value, the sometimes low frametimes are more worrying.
Doesn't matter either, Hertz is periodic, as I said, fps is an average. You can't just offset that. You need significantly more fps to ensure that every periodic swap also has a fully rendered frame.

There's a GTX 1050, mostly also with 4GB VRAM. But is mainly installed in laptops.

I also had this problem. I was very disappointed. Then I bought a second screen and connected it via the display port cable and zack with maximum settings 170fps. I have a i7 7700hq and a 1050ti. The reason for this is incomprehensible to me. My guess is that the 1050ti and the integrated Grakka stand in the way and "hinder" each other. The gaming Grakka works via displayport and the other one is deactivated.

He didn't mention 4GB.

There's also a 1050 with 4GB in laptops.

And you can also notice a difference if it is more than 60 FPS with a 60Hz monitor.

The Intel i7 8550U is a mobile processor for notebooks / laptops.

My guess is that the 1050ti and the integrated Grakka stand in the way and "hinder" each other

No, both complement each other, the graphics chip of the 1050ti is only suitable for games to a limited extent.

Li

Ok the one with the 2nd screen via displayport so I only have the 1050ti in mc as an example 1500fps without I only have around 200fps. So my guess is that they hinder each other

Bo

The 8550 yes, but FS spoke of an 8500 …

Th

I once did the test and switched off the integrated graphics unit on my Intel i7 on my penultimate laptop and only tried to use the Nvidia GTX 970 Mini while playing, FPS dropped so much that one took a clear stutter.

Li

I can send you pictures of how it is with me here tomorrow.

But he mentioned it but later exchanged it for the 2GB

Fo

Weird.
