Driver can't be installed why?

I built my gaming pc and supplied it with a LAN cable, but what I don't understand is that I can't install the driver (for msi z390 gaming plus) if I want to install the LAN driver, it says: Error, Driver could not be installed, try to install the driver from the original manufacturer. But I just did that. I installed the driver on my laptop, dragged it to the PC and tried to install it. Still didn't work but why? Request for urgent help, I have been without agony since the beginning of my gaming PC.
