I got a new laptop for gaming.
However, I now have the problem that when I watch videos on YouTube in Chrome, the laptop freezes after a while and I can't do anything other than press the on / off button…
But that only happens when I watch videos and not while playing. Does anyone have any idea why this might be?
Does the error also occur with the other browsers (Edge, Firefox) and at the same time looked in the task manager to see what the laptop is doing at that moment?
I'll try firefox let's see but what can be the reason? The only thing I did was to install an SSD before I started it, is that because?
Not really. Is the SSD as additional storage or have you reinstalled the operating system on it? What are the key data of your laptop?
Ne the laptop has a 5500GB SSD where the operating system is on it and I have an extra 2TB SSD built in and the laptop has an i7 processor and Nvidia RTX 3060 and 16GB RAM
Well, Youtube should actually go there, either the browser is not running properly (reinstall) or some 3rd software is always in between as soon as you want to use Youtube on Chrome. Open the Task Manager as expected and watch by the way, maybe you will find the error.
(I'm assuming Windows 10)
Hey yes windows 10 and how exactly do I see it in the task manager? So what should I watch out for?
I tried Firefox and watched videos and it froze again, so it's not chrome
