I have a problem with my microphone on the Teufel Cage Gaming headset.
It no longer works via the USB connection on my PC but on the laptop.
The microphone is recognized and activated, so it should work but it doesn't.
I suspect that it may have something to do with the USB ports on my PC, but the Bluetooth stick and other devices work perfectly via the ports.
I need help, please, because when it comes to something I don't know my way around at all.
If the device is connected, check the device manager to see whether the device is properly connected or installed.
Yes it is recognized and it even says that the device is working properly
Was the correct output and input device selected?
Yes it was
Both speakers and microphone are not working?
No just the microphone doesn't work, I hear everything
What is displayed in the Soindmanager? Is the microphone recognized?
It is recognized as a standard device and it is activated
Is the device connected to the front or the rear?
On the back of the headphones
I mean the front or back of the computer.
Sorry, on the front of the PC, but I've tried other connections
Then something is wrong with your sound card, if all drivers are up to date, everything is recognized and everything has been set correctly, then you have a defect somewhere.
Since the device works on the laptop, the problem must be with the other device.
Well about an hour ago it still worked and suddenly it doesn't work anymore
If you tell me that everything is right and suddenly it doesn't work on your computer anymore, then you have
- either adjusted something
- or something is defective.
How can I find out that my sound card is defective
