When I used to play GTA Online (about half a year ago), it ran at a juicy 80fps and only occasionally stuttered, but then after a long GTA break, the online mode suddenly only ran at 10-15fps. Story mode still runs at 100fps as before. Always had a bamboo pipe so I doubt it's the internet, also because of the fact that I improved it recently and nothing has changed. Then I thought it might be because of some story mode mods that I had installed, so reinstalling the game didn't help either. Graphics settings are also reset to default. Now I'm running out of ideas so I thought I was just asking for a few options that I might be able to try before I give up the game entirely. Play on a laptop (Predator Helios 300 with a GTX 1050Ti) if that helps. Kiss goes out in advance. If any information is still missing, I'll be happy to add it.

Look again whether the energy saving mode is not the one that kicks in. Anything else changed in the graphic settings?
