Transfer cell phone photos with PC to USB stick?

I have to get photos of my phone on my USB stick. Have a laptop and so far only the phone charger connected to this. Can anyone describe exactly how this works?

Normally a cell phone, then it's recognized as mass storage.

then you can access it like a hard drive.

Select folders or pictures right mouse button and create on the laptop n new folder where you can then paste them again. Select several pictures in a folder by holding down the ctrl key (keep the key and click on the individual pictures)

and then vice versa USB into the laptop and then copy there.

I do not understand grad. What do you think with cell phone? Do not look right now

Well, first of all you have to connect both devices to the laptop:

mobile
USB stick

Then check that both devices are also connected & open on the laptop. For that you go to "This PC" ("My Computer" "My Computer" or whatever your operating system says) - at least to where all drives are displayed. There you should be able to see both the mobile phone and the USB stick.

If the phone is not displayed despite the cable being connected, you may need to unlock the phone (if you have a screen lock), or "click" on the phone (for example, enable data transfer instead of just load). You can usually select that on the home screen of the phone in the bar at the top.

Ideally, the phone and USB stick appear in the drive list on the laptop.

Then you click on the laptop on the "mobile phone drive" and search through the folders until you find the pictures folder (Pictures, DCIM, Camera… Whatever his name is).

From there you copy the pictures to the USB stick.

I connect my phone via USB cable to the PC.

Then I can easily access the PC with the workstation / Explorer on my phone.

This then pops up there like an ordinary drive. In the DCIM folder (is the camera) or Whattsapp or Downloads are your pictures, depending on how the pictures got.

And from there you can then copy it to your PC / USB stick or anywhere else.

It was more complicated on my old Huawei phone.

Also connected via USB cable to the PC. But then I needed a special program to access the phone (could not help but be able to turn myself upside down).

If the program then wanted to access the phone, I got on the phone every time a message, whether the PC should access because.

Then I could click on the PC through the menus to copy the images to the PC.

Was really annoying.

Thanks did everything except copying. I tried to create a text document and copy it there. I did not. How does it work

It is best to first create a new empty folder on your USB stick (open stick via My Computer, then right click → "new" → create folder).

How you call the folder does not matter.

Then you have the pictures found on your phone. Mark the pictures you want to copy, then right-click on them → "copy"

Now your PC knows which pictures you want to copy. He still does not know where to go.

So next in the new folder on your USB stick changed.

There you make a right click on a vacancy… And then select "paste".

Then your PC starts copying from the phone to the USB stick.

Now you have all the pictures you marked, 1x on your mobile phone and 1x in the new folder on USB stick.

Ch

Just something simpler:

Go on the PC to the making on the phone.

Now make a right click on the folder (where the pictures are DRINK) and choose "copy".

If you now make right click on the USB stick and select "paste", you have directly copied the entire folder with the pictures.

Copy & paste works like this:

In the cell phone "source folder" (where the pictures are):

Holding down the right mouse button, drag a "frame" around all the images that interest you. Then - if you release the mouse button & a window opens - click on "Copy".

In the destination folder (USB stick):

There you click with the right mouse button somewhere (on a free area) → click "paste" → Done.

Then you have copied the image files to the USB stick. If you want to be neat, you create a folder on the USB stick (right-click → New → Folder) and call it "pictures" "vacation photos" or whatever. There you can then insert the copied pictures.

Connect the mobile phone to the PC with the USB cable.
