I would like to connect my laptop to my old PC monitor. My laptop only has an hdmi connection and my monitor has vga. Adapter was obtained and connected to the laptop thus an adapter from hsdmi to vga. Now my PC monitor shows the whole thing: analog Rgb 67Khz / 60Hz except Scarb. I also tried to click Expand with the Windows key + P - nothing happens. However, my laptop recognizes under settings that a second monitor is available. What is wrong

Try to change the resolution on the laptop. And there's a menu on the monitor.

Try to reset Minitor and laptop off and on and reconnect.
