Or good night.
Personally, I do not have a clue about PCs and everything that goes with them, but still I have a question in this area.
I ordered a new notebook today because my old one is getting tired. The notebook I have decided for now has a HDD and SSD hard drive installed.
Now to my question…
The wisest would be yes if Windows 10 directly to the SSD hard disk plays it? Because as I read, it is probably the smartest to have the operating system and programs on the faster SSD and its data on the HDD. Is it common that Windows automatically installed on the SSD? Or do I have the control over which of the two hard disks it is played before the installation? Or do I just have to wait on which of the two hard drives Windows lands and possibly transfer it from the HDD to the SSD? Because as I've read, that's not quite as easy to do, at least for a Leien like me.
I would be very happy if someone could help me there, so that I'm not completely unaware when the notebook arrives the next days. And please explain for dummies, because otherwise I do not understand a word anyway.
So you ordered a notebook without an operating system?
Otherwise, Windows 10 is already preinstalled and of course on the SSD.
If you install Windows 10 manually, you can choose at the beginning of the installation, which storage medium you want to use - of course, then select the SSD.
First of all thanks for this super fast answer.
No, the notebook is with operating system, but thought the Windows only unpacked and installed at startup and I was not sure on which hard drive that takes place. But if it is automatically on the SSD, I do not have to worry that I'm doing wrong in setting up and then the whole thing lands on the HDD.
Thanks again, the question kept me so busy that I could not sleep.
You can sleep well, Windows 10 is preinstalled, only asks at the first start of some parameters, everything is easy to understand and understand.
Good night.
Ok, perfect.
Have a good night too
