Warranty for laptops after 3 months?

Hello bought a gaming laptop from Mediamarkt about 2-3 months ago (Omen 17) and declined the guarantee.

After 2-3 months I have a problem with the HDD that is installed, only the SSD is still working. ((A quick test of the storage disks also detects an error and the HDD is not recognized either.)). Then there was a link and there's a 9-month guarantee etc.

Now to the question… Do I still have the right to repair it after such a short time… Or is it now only via HP and I have to take care of it myself (i.e. The brand from the manufacturer) or can regulate the MediaMarkt because I bought it there…

You can already hand it in at Mediamarkt if the guarantee is still running. They are obliged in the event of a defect. I don't know whether they will repair or exchange it somehow.

So I rejected the guarantee for them, only with an HP account if I check the hard drives and it is forwarded to the support, since the guarantee status is 9 months, but does that also count as part of the "MediaMarkt guarantee" or how?

Ma

Where you bought it, i.e. Media market, as a customer you can expect your product to work well. Just go there, they won't kill you.
Btw, I don't think you can refuse the guarantee at all, if you only refused something else, I always do. They are legally obliged to replace the product in the event of a defect in the guarantee period.
